WARD FUNDING

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2022/2023. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillor Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested:

(i)£500 as a ward councillor funding donation to Blackpool’s Voice towards the continued support of the foodbank directed to those in need on Central Drive.

(ii)£150 as a ward councillor funding donation to Donna’s Dream House towards purchasing and planting 100 snowdrop bulbs in Stanley Park as a remembrance for families to visit.

 

Councillor Farrell of Ingthorpe Ward has requested:

(i)£27.26 as a ward councillor funding donation to Kilmory Community Centre Lunch Club towards the purchase of food items to hold a Coronation Lunch for the group.

(ii)£147.59 as a ward councillor funding donation to Blackpool Coastal Housing for the purchase a Boccia Set to be using exclusively at the Community Centres within Ingthorpe Ward.
