WARD FUNDING

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2022/2023. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Taylor of Claremont Ward has requested £672.50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco Waste Services for a waste amnesty in September 2022 for Claremont Ward.  Councillor Taylor did not know that this would be a retrospective application at the time of submission.  This is a retrospective application due to circumstances outwith the Councillor’s control namely the delay in clarification of how this funding would be paid to Enveco.

Councillor L Williams of Claremont Ward has requested £672.50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco Waste Services for a waste amnesty in September 2022 for Claremont Ward.  Councillor Williams did not know that this would be a retrospective application at the time of submission.  This is a retrospective application due to circumstances outwith the Councillor’s control namely the delay in clarification of how this funding would be paid to Enveco.
