WARD FUNDING

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2022/2023. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillor Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested:

(i)£302 as a ward councillor funding donation to York Street Resident’s Community Group for the purchase of plants and equipment to make 4 hanging baskets for the Community Blackpool in Bloom event

(ii)£300 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bairstow Street Hoteliers Group for the purchase of plants and equipment to make hanging baskets for the Community Blackpool in Bloom event.

 

Councillor Burdess of Clifton Ward has requested:

(i)£200 as a ward councillor funding donation to Blackpool Boys and Girls Club towards a Mereside Youth Booster Literacy Scheme to provide transport and a snack to visit Waterstones Bookshop and Central Library.

(ii)£137.50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Cherry Tree Community Centre towards the purchase of food, drink and bunting for their community Jubilee Event.

 

Councillor R Scott of Greenlands Ward has requested £494.33 as a ward councillor funding donation to Kings Church towards the purchase of food, drink and small stalls for a community Jubilee Event.

Councillor Brookes of Hawes Side Ward has requested £2,769.60 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Highways Department for the purchase and installation of 2 Speed Indication Devices for Hawes Side Ward.

 

Councillor Critchley of Hawes Side Ward has requested £2,769.60 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Highways Department for the purchase and installation of 2 Speed Indication Devices for Hawes Side Ward.

 

Councillor Hugo of Talbot Ward has requested £120 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco for 2 days clearing of the alley behind Gloucester Road by the Community Payback Team.
