The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £15,000 to each Ward covered for the financial year 2020/2021. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillors Taylor and L Williams of Claremont Ward have requested £500 as funding to Claremont First Step Community Centre towards providing some Christmas gifts for those impoverished and isolated in the Claremont community over the festive period.  This is a retrospective application due to some confusion with the original application form not being received and those applying for the funding assuming that the money had been granted.
