04/08/2022 - WARD COUNCILLOR FUNDING ref: 2188    Recommendations Approved

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2022/2023. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillor Clapham of Bispham has requested £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bispham with Norbreck Gala Committee to provide support for the Gala within Bispham Ward.

 

Councillor Wilshaw of Bispham has requested £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bispham with Norbreck Gala Committee to provide support for the Gala within Bispham Ward.

 

Councillor Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to Red Rose Women’s Group at Ibbison Court towards an outing for a group of elderly ladies to enhance their social life and mental wellbeing.

01/08/2022 - LICENSING DECISIONS FOR THE WEEK ENDING 31 JULY 2022 ref: 2187    Recommendations Approved

The Head of Licensing Service deals with a number of requests for licences under the Licensing Act, the Gambling Act and other pieces of legislations. Details of the licences, applied for and granted are outlined in the report.

Councillor Cox of Squires Gate Ward has requested £712.50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Babies and Buddies Group at The Hub @ South Shore towards the costs of running the Group and supplying baby juice drinks for those attending.
