30/04/2021 - BLACKPOOL PLAYING PITCH STRATEGY AND ACTION PLAN UPDATE ref: 1840    Recommendations Approved

To consider the updated Blackpool Playing Pitch Strategy and associated Action Plan (refer Appendix Ai and Aii) which provides a strategic framework for the maintenance and improvement of outdoor sports pitches and ancillary facilities in Blackpool between 2019 and 2027.

28/04/2021 - WARD FUNDING ref: 1839    Recommendations Approved

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £15,000 to each Ward covered for the financial year 2020/2021. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillors Burdess and Hutton of Clifton Ward have requested £100 as funding to Mereside and Friends in Action Group for the purchase of Easter Eggs for the disadvantaged due to Covid restrictions in the Mereside area.

23/04/2021 - DELIVERY OF OUTLINE BUSINESS CASE FOR COAST PROTECTION SCHEME FROM LITTLE BISPHAM TO BISPHAM ref: 1837    Recommendations Approved

To accept the price and enter into a contract with Jacobs who are consultants from the Environment Agency’s Framework. The contract is to prepare the outline business case for the Coast protection scheme from Little Bispham to Bispham which is included in the Blackpool and Fylde Coast Protection Strategy 2012.

23/04/2021 - DELIVERY OF OUTLINE BUISNESS CASE FOR COAST PROTECTION SCHEME BISPHAM CAPITAL MAINTENANCE ref: 1836    Recommendations Approved

To accept the price and enter into contract with Jacobs who are  consultants from the Environment Agency’s Framework  to prepare the outline business case for the Coast protection scheme known as   Bispham Capital Maintenance (Cocker Square to Gynn Square) which is included in the Blackpool and Fylde Coast Protection Strategy 2012.
