Minutes:

The Licensing Panel considered an application for a new Premises Licence for the Coastal Bay Hotel, 377-379 Promenade, Blackpool, FY1 6BH.

The applicant, Coastal Bay Hotel Limited, was represented by Mr Oisin Daly of Absolute Licence Solutions Ltd who was accompanied by Mr Alan Diamond, Director of the applicant company, who joined the meeting by telephone.

The Panel considered a written request for the meeting to be deferred from Mr Lee Petrak, Trading Standards and Licensing Manager, who had objected to the application, as he was unable to attend due to ill health. As some outstanding electrical works had yet to be completed at the hotel, Mr Daly confirmed the applicant had no objection to the proposed deferral as it would allow his client time to complete the required works prior to consideration of the application by the Panel.

Members acknowledged the request and agreed to defer consideration of the application to a future meeting after which the works had been completed.

Resolved:

To defer consideration of the application for a new Premises Licence for the Coastal Bay Hotel to a future meeting.
