To approve the results of the review of School Based Children’s Centre’s including the proposed transition to a neighbourhood delivery model.

Decision:
The Executive agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:
- To agree to implement the new model of Children’s Centre delivery from January 2020, as outlined in Appendix 2a to the Executive Report.
- To agree to move towards a centrally funded neighbourhood model with extended delivery in three Children’s Centres and an outreach offer in six Family Centres.
- To agree that the savings made this year from the Dedicated School Grant (DSG) before it ceases will be used to support the Schools, Academies and Local Authority currently commissioned to respond to any potential redundancies and pension strain costs relating to the transition to the new model.
