WARD GRANTS

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £15,000 to each Ward covered for the financial year 2018/2019. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillors I Taylor and L Williams of Claremont Ward have requested £2,200 as funding to Claremont Park Community Centre for payment for a fun fair at an event at the Community Centre on 7 July 2018.

 

Councillors Mrs Henderson MBE and Hunter of Highfield Ward have requested £1,000 as funding to the Friends of Highfield Park towards the construction of a Multi-Use Games Area on the park.

 

Councillors I Coleman and Smith of Talbot Ward have requested £382 as funding to the Highways Department for the purchase and installation of twelve Speed Concern signs within Talbot Ward to alert drivers to the concerns of the local community.

 

Councillors Jackson and Owen of Victoria Ward have requested £15,000 as funding to the Highways Department to renew all the road markings within the ward.
