WARD GRANTS

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £15,000 to each Ward covered for the financial year 2017/2018. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

 

Councillors Galley and T Williams of Anchorsholme Ward have requested £7,000 as funding to the Independent Living Centre on Whitegate Drive towards the costs of installing a new café into Anchorsholme Library.

 

Councillors Clapham and Maycock of Bispham Ward have requested:

(i)£454 as funding to the Street Cleansing Service for the purchase and installation of a new large capacity litter bin at Fiveways Garage.

(ii)£2,500 as funding to the Parks Department for the purchase and installation of replacement fencing at Cavendish Road Park to help prevent anti-social behaviour.

(iii)£1,700 as funding to Blackpool Sea Cadets towards berthing fees for 2 training boats at Fleetwood Marina and 20 x Camping Beds for weekend camps.
