To agree the establishment of the Covid-19 Health Protection Board which will be responsible for ensuring Blackpool has adequate planning arrangements to be able to respond effectively and efficiently to outbreak management; ensuring plans and processes are in place. This group will be Chaired by the Director of Public Health or the Consultant in Public Health and if they are absent a deputy.
To agree the establishment of a COVID-19 Outbreak Engagement Board to provide elected member ownership and public facing engagement and communication for outbreak response. This group will be Chaired by the Leader of the Council and if they are absent a deputy.
