Minutes:

The Sub-Committee was informed of an existing Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicle driver who had given sufficient cause for concern as to be referred to the Sub-Committee for consideration.

Members discussed the referral as follows:

PNC – Existing Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver

PNC was not in attendance and made no representations to the Sub-Committee.

Mr Ryan Radcliffe, Licensing Officer, who was in attendance, presented the case on behalf of the Authority.

Members reasoned that it could help them to reach a decision if the driver was present during consideration of the case. The Sub-Committee therefore agreed to defer considerations to the next meeting to allow PNC a further opportunity to attend.

Resolved:

To defer consideration of the case to the 6 December 2016 meeting to allow the driver a further opportunity to attend.
