Decision details

The Executive resolved as follows:

1. To recommend to Council to approve the indicative three-year Local Transport Plan works programme 2018/2019 to 2020/2021 attached at Appendix 2a, to the Executive report.

2. To recommend to Council to approve that the programme incorporated with the objectives and vision from the 2011 Local Transport Plan Strategy forming Blackpool’s Local Transport Plan (Implementation Plan 2018 to 2021) attached at Appendix 2b, to the Executive report.

3. To recommend to Council that authority is granted to the Director of Place, following consultation with the Deputy Leader of the Council (Tourism, Economic Growth and Jobs) subject to a published officer decision, to vary the programme as required to deliver overall objectives and ensure spend of the indicative grant allocations.

4.      Subsequent to the approval of the above recommendations by the Council, to delegate authority to the Head of Legal to enter into any legal documentation that may be required to implement the plan.
