Members of the Licensing Committee are hereby summoned to attend a meeting as follows:-

ADMISSION OF THE PUBLIC TO MEETINGS The Head of Legal and Democratic Services has marked with an asterisk (*) those items where he has reason to believe that consideration may need to be given as to whether or not a resolution excluding the public should be passed.

Members are asked to declare any interests in the items under consideration and in doing so state:
(1) whether the interest is personal or prejudicial; and
(2) the nature of the interest concerned

To verify as a correct record, or otherwise, the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on the 30th May 2007.

| 3. | HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE LICENSING POLICY
To consider the recommendation from Public Protection Sub-Committee to recommend to the Executive for approval the attached Hackney Carriage and Private Hire licensing policy.

| 4. | REVIEW OF STATEMENT OF LICENSING POLICY
To consider the revised statement of licensing policy.

| 5. | GAMBLING ACT 2005- DELEGATION OF LICENSING AUTHORITY FUNCTIONS
To consider the delegation of the Licensing Authority's functions under the Gambling Act 2005.

| 6. | GAMBLING ACT 2005 UPDATE
To consider an update on the implementation of the Gambling Act 2005.
|
| 7. | LICENSING QUARTERLY UPDATE
To consider the quarterly licensing update for the period May to August 2007.
|
| 8. | ENFORCEMENT UPDATE
To receive a verbal update on the work of the licensing enforcement officers.
